Big Boi Arrested for Illegal Possession

Big Boi of Outkast was arrested earlier today in Miami for 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance & 1 count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Apparently dude man was caught holding viagra, ecstasy pills & MDMA powder while leaving a cruise ship. He didn't have a perscription for the viagra nor did he have one for the ecstasy or MDMA powder (because you can't get a perscription for those silly). Big Boi was held on $16,000 bond but was released early this evening where he immediately tweeted: "fresh out baby!" still cooler than a polar bear's toenails.

Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes Runs Shit @ The Box Office

RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES went "apeshit" at the box office on it's opening weekend in North American theaters this weekend & pulled in $54 million. The flick went all King Kong on Jason Bateman & Ryan Reynold's THE CHANGE-UP ($13.5 million). & threw poo at Jon Favreau's COWBOYS & ALIENS ($15.8 million). THE SMURFS movie managed to keep up though bringing in $21 million (seriously??). Somewhere Charlton Heston is smiling...and possibly shooting a gun.

New Ultimate Spider-Man Is A Brotha!!

So if you haven't heard Peter Parker got merked. Comics writer Brian Michael Bendis said it would happen at a press conference held a few months back. And if you've been reading the Death of Spider-Man story arc in Ultimate Spider-Man you pretty much got hints as to what was going to go down. So anyways Marvel has recently announced his replacement. Introducing (up above) Miles Morales, the web head's newest successor (eat your heart out Ben Reilly)!! Miles is Marvel's new half-black, half-hispanic character & sort of a big deal. Taking on a mantle as respected & as coveted as ol' Spidey's is no short order & writer Bendis & artist Sara Pichelli aim to make it a challenge for the new guy (a brotha can't even catch a scripted break).
